OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE
As Software Engineer you will enable Takeda to become truly data-driven and digital organization by designing, developing and delivering solutions on our key technology and cloud platforms.
You will help define and build new capabilities, tools, components and consumption models to stakeholders and socialize changes to existing ones related to our cloud platforms. You will:
Focus on driving improved business outcomes through a global common platform approach.
Drive the design and development of our product vision and take it into a working product
Develop, customize and enhance functionalities of various software (cloud) platforms and participate actively in the team by taking contributor role in discussions and ceremonies to help shape implementable user stories

Collaborate with other developers across teams, vendors and units, both as ad hoc problem-solving
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Collaborate with other agile/scrum team members to craft clear user stories, design tests for prototypes and products, and continuously deliver product enhancements
Use agile engineering practices and various software and development technologies to rapidly develop creative and efficient solutions that enhance the customer and employee experience
Continuously reach out to demonstrate and validate developed functionality
Ability to work in complex environment and enjoy working autonomously.
EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering, product management or a related study, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience developing software in one or various of the following object-oriented programming language: Java, C#, Python, Ruby, C++, JavaScript/TypeScript with aptitude to learn new software applications and cloud platforms
Experience with refactoring, design patterns, design-driven development, continuous deployment, highly scalable applications and their security
Sound problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly process complex information
Excellent communication skills
