What a Code Signing Engineer does at HP:

• The role is part of a talented team of security engineers and architects within HP Cybersecurity’s Architecture & Security Engineering team. Our security engineers are responsible for ensuring the security of HP products, solutions, and infrastructure. Our code signing engineers primarily develop, manage, and support HP’s code signing infrastructure across the Cloud and data centers.
• We are specifically looking for engineers who have advanced knowledge in building and code signing MacOS and iOS applications.

Responsibilities:

• Work with our Cybersecurity team to:
  • Develop and implement code signing solutions based on FIPS 140-3 and FIPS 186-5 standards.
  • Manage and support the code signing infrastructure across the Cloud and data center environments.
  • Support HP engineers across different organizations by provisioning access, creating keys, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Developing and implementing Cloud native solutions to monitor, log, and remediate vulnerabilities in the Cloud and data centers.
  • Develop and maintain DevOps that provision resources and pushes code.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

Knowledge and Skills required:

• Building and code signing MacOS and iOS applications
• Using codesign and productsign

• Advanced knowledge of one or more of the following programing languages:
  • Java
  • Python
  • C/C++/C#
  • Bash
  • PowerShell
  • Objective-C
  • Swift
• Advanced knowledge of:
  • Cloud environments and technologies
  • Windows
  • Linux
  • MacOS

Certification and Experience Required:

• Technical Cybersecurity certification through one of the recognized bodies preferred: SANS, ISACA, (ICS)2, CompTIA, Cisco, CERT, etc.
• 6+ years of relevant experience desired
