Take your software engineering career to the next level as a Frontend Developer at Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting Germany. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and troubleshooting an internal User Interface framework based on Angular. Your technical skills
and innovative mindset will contribute to the continuous improvement of our products, making a significant impact on user experience and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Analysis of technical requirements:
Evaluate the compatibility of new requirements with UX and quality standards
Support the assurance of consistency, completeness, accuracy, and testability of product requirements
Create detailed acceptance criteria for technical user stories
Drive the architecture and development of the entire framework:
Drive the architecture and development of the framework, focusing on modularization using components and independent services
Create technical concepts and coordinate cross-team implementation
Communicate effectively with the product owner and stakeholders regarding the scope and boundaries of development work
Develop and improve the user interface framework:
Work closely with other developers to understand the underlying architecture and code and to implement improvements at various levels of the framework
Analyze and debug issues mainly related to the frontend part of the framework (Angular/TypeScript)

Extend the frontend implementation in accordance with feature requests
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or any relevant field
Advanced level of English
At least 5 years of professional experience as a software engineer in various (web) development projects (preferably in platform/framework/library teams)
Extensive experience with Angular and reactive programming (e.g., RxJS), including the ability to design and implement complex frontend solutions, as well as unit-testing
Proven expertise in at least one high-level programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Java) and a proactive, hands-on approach
Excellent self-organization skills, as well as your ability to coach and develop a team - a self-driven working style, with a strong ability to collaborate effectively
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate opinions and engage in effective discussion
Interest in cutting edge (web) technology and how to implement it
Interest in working on the backend (Java, Kotlin) as needed
An eye for detail and profound experience with CSS (and CSS preprocessors) is a big plus
Knowledge in web application security (e.g., OWASP) is a big plus
