Impact & Contribution: You are an experienced Software Engineer who is passionate about creating high performance dashboards with large datasets. This role will be part of the Cloud Integrations crew, a part of the wider Cloud Enablement and Engineering practice. The business unit delivers complex cloud engineering capabilities and drives modern solutions and service across the group’s public cloud product offerings.
The successful applicant will join the Cloud Controls squad tasked with accelerating the delivery to Cloud through the automation of large volumes of compliance evidence. The large datasets will be displayed to tenants via our high-performance ReactJS dashboard in a clear and user-friendly format, enabling tenants to address any findings and demonstrate compliance.
Roles & responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and test frontend features using React and TypeScript.
- Develop and enhance user interfaces with a focus on responsiveness, accessibility, and performance.
- Engage in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes.
- Mentor fellow engineers to elevate engineering quality and velocity.
- Share engineering knowledge through presentations, demos, and blogs to the broader engineering community.
- Collaborate with the Chapter Lead and Product Owner and team to establish and create engineering roadmaps.
Essential skills:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in frontend development
- Extensive expertise in React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Express.js
- Strong proficiency with semantic HTML and CSS
- Knowledge of responsive design and web accessibility standards
- Proficient with component-driven development using Storybook
- Experience with Material UI
- Experience working with Apollo client and GraphQL
- Understanding of web security principles including XSS, CSRF, CSP
- Strong knowledge of unit testing and end-to-end testing with Playwright
- Experience using Git for source control
- High proficiency with NPM package management and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Artifactory
- Experience with PostgreSQL and Prisma ORM
- Experience with Docker
- Technical hands-on experience in AWS, particularly with serverless technologies
- AWS certifications (highly desirable)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- A growth mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology.
