Job Description
Senior Full-stack Software Engineer
Position Responsibilities:
Manage technical implementation of cross-squad programs across complex technical, regulatory, other cross-cutting needs;
Responsible for overseeing the regular system release, system maintenance & upgrade project for in-house insurance application systems in waterfall and/or agile methodology;
Responsible for project scoping, resources planning, project status monitoring & reporting and project risk mitigation;
Leading the local & offshore development team to manage user requirement, support system design, development, quality assurance, testing and system implementation;
Comply with standards of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and/or Agile Control standards
Support production on-call;
Ensure system quality, compliance and security controls which conform to company standards.
Required Qualifications:
University/polytechnic graduate in any computer related discipline
At least 5 - 7 years' relevant work experience
Hand-on experience in any of the following:
Oracle, PL/SQL, Oracle forms & report
Java, Microservices/AKS development
IBM AIX Unix
Ability to guide multiple initiatives across multiple teams
Mentor and develop technical skills in squad and team members
Experience in life insurance industry preferred
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proactive, self-motivated and adapted to changes
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good command of English and Chinese, both spoken and written
Able to work under pressure and meet tight schedules
