You’ll be part of a wider BB Tech team integrated into the Digital & Automated Lending Crew in Business Lending Domain. The crew is reimagining the way we offer credit to our business customers by focusing on certainty and speed. We do this through building next gen digital and automated credit solutions using BIAN and BaaS microservices architecture.
As the Senior Software Engineer, you be reporting directly to the Chapter Lead Business Banking, the team provides expert and strategic technology support to the Digital & Automated Lending Crew in the Business Lending domain.
Our Senior Software Engineer are hands-on technical subject-matter experts, who are accountable for a significant portion of technical leadership and design solutions that have a shift left focus.

Design and develop Microservices using C#, .Net and JavaScript
Collaborate within the team to apply the principles of design, development, testing, deployment, support, and evaluation.
Contribute to the technical design for system enhancements.
Develop high quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage.
Provide technical support and assistance to other non-technical members of the team.
Actively participate in code reviews and provide qualitative feedback with a continuous improvement mindset.
Contribute in support and technical troubleshooting activity. At all times act in a courteous and professional manner and use best judgement to advance the interests of the company, its

Write and enhance automation test framework as an important component of team development assets.
Ability to participate, and often lead, full cycle regression testing.
Tech Skills
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team:
Node.js: Familiarity with Node.js for server-side logic and integration with front-end elements.
TypeScript: Exposure to TypeScript is highly valued, as we look to leverage strong typing towards enhancing code quality and maintainability.
Next.js: Experience with Next.js for server-side rendering, static site generation desirable.
DOT NET: Experience with .NET core and C# strongly preferred but not necessary
AWS: Knowledge on Step Functions, Lambda and DynamoDB
Git: Knowledge of version control using Git, including branching, merging, and pull requests.
React: Strong understanding of React principles, component lifecycle, hooks, and state management.
HTML5: Skilled in using HTML5 to create structured web page layouts.
CSS3: Ability to style web pages effectively using CSS3, including knowledge of responsive design.
UI Frameworks: Experience with Tailwind and MUI (or equivalent) UI frameworks desirable.
Debugging Skills: Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting web applications, using tools like Chrome DevTools.
Cross-Browser Development: Experience in ensuring compatibility across different web browsers and resolving compatibility issues.
RESTful APIs: Experience in consuming RESTful services and APIs within the front-end framework.
State Management Techniques: Familiarity with state management libraries and techniques, such as Redux and Context Hooks, to manage application state.
Familiarity with Modern Build Tools: Experience with build and bundling tools like Webpack, Babel, and NPM scripts.
Accessibility and Web Standards: Knowledge of web accessibility standards and practices to create inclusive and accessible web applications.
Good communication, teamwork, problem-solving skills, and adaptability in a fast-paced development environment.
