The Opportunity:

When our country’s cyber security is on the line, simply reacting is not enough—we need a plan. And when that plan needs to support a client we need strategic policy analysis. That’s why we need you, a cybersecurity SME with the expertise required to analyze the policies that determine our cyber resilience.

As a cyber strategic planning and policy specialist on our team, you’ll lead the assessment of current cyber policies, the coverage of those policies, and areas of risks. You’ll evaluate how policies stack up to regulations, best practices, and industry standards. As you guide your client through understanding acceptable risk and availability, you’ll advance the development of a strategic cyber roadmap. You’ll work to ensure the client operates securely as they navigate an evolving IT environment.

You Have:

• 10+ years of experience with cybersecurity
• Experience briefing GS-15s on cybersecurity and IT subject matter
• Knowledge of defense industrial base (DIB) cybersecurity programs, standards, processes, and practices, including NIST SP 800-171, NIST SP 800-53, FedRAMP, DFARS 252.204-7012, and contractual requirements
• Ability to contribute cybersecurity expertise to support drafting reports and briefings to DoD senior leadership and other entities
• Secret clearance
• Master's degree in a cyber field

Nice If You Have:

• Experience supporting cybersecurity programs leveraging high-level subject matter expertise
• Experience with supporting cybersecurity assessments or cyber-risk management initiatives
• Experience analyzing cybersecurity policy and recommending improvements to address deficiencies
• Experience with the federal rulemaking process

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
