Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, research, and maintain software solutions in C++ and .NET
• Peer review code for adherence to coding standards and design guidelines
• Regardless of tech stack, candidate should be focused on usability, responsiveness, scalability, testability, and best coding and design practices
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Mentor peers and scrum team building
• Collaborate with the Automation and Test team on identifying test cases for new features and regression testing
• Utilize strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
• Demonstrated high-level OOP language (preferably C++ and .NET Core) design and programming ability.
• Strong knowledge of real-time, multithreaded operating systems, applications and concepts.
• Knowledge of IP networking applications and concepts.
• A desire to learn, grow, and contribute.

When you join us, the technologies and processes you’ll be working with include:

• C++ v11/v14 in a Windows or Linux Environment.
• C# with .NET Core
• Azure Development
• Test Driven Development.
• Digital video and audio encoding in various formats like H264, H265, and mp4.
• Preference will be given to candidates that have experience working with the .NET Core framework..
• Agile Scrum.
• Experience with ONVIF is also an asset

This position is based in Vancouver, BC and the candidate must reside in the Greater Vancouver area as you will be required to go into the office on a hybrid work schedule.

The base salary range for this position in British Columbia is 85,000 - 105,000 CAD depending on experience.
